Romania is attractive to Amazon due to its skilled workforce, lower labor costs, and strategic location in Europe. The country offers a growing tech talent pool, multilingual proficiency, and competitive operational costs. Additionally, Romania’s EU membership facilitates seamless access to the European market, making it an ideal hub for Amazon’s logistics and customer service operations. There is also a process of synergy as Amazon is expanding in the entire region, making it easier for its Romanian branch to cooperate with, for example, its Polish branch.
