Marriott’s AC Hotels by Marriott has announced its brand debut in Croatia, with the AC Hotel by Marriott Split located within the 135-metre-high Westgate Tower. The minimalist hotel offers 214 guestrooms with panoramic views of the city and the Adriatic Sea. The warm color palette and clean aesthetic were designed by architect Otto Barić and interior designer firm Atellior Studio. The AC Lounge features locally sourced art by Vatroslav Kuliš, a curated collection of books, and architecture and fashion albums for guests to explore. The AC Hotel by Marriott Split also features a Mediterranean eatery called Laureto Restaurant, helmed by Croatian Chef Goran Šikić, and Cumano Bar, which features creative cocktails, including the signature AC Gin & Tonic. Marriott International hopes to contribute significantly to the region’s economic growth by attracting business and leisure travelers and fostering corporate partnerships. The opening of AC Hotel by Marriott Split marks an exciting chapter for the local hospitality industry.
