The second batch of 19 new M1A2 SEPv3 Abrams tanks has arrived in Poland by sea. With this delivery, there are now 47 of the latest Abrams tanks in the country, intended for subunits of the Polish Armed Forces.
To recall, the first delivery of M1A2 SEPv3 Abrams tanks to Poland took place in January. In total, the Polish Armed Forces will receive 250 tanks of this version, ordered in 2022 along with accompanying equipment and ammunition, for a total of USD 4.75 billion. These tanks will be operated by units of the 18th Mechanized Division.
Before being handed over to the military, the Abrams tanks will undergo so-called deprocessing — an inspection carried out by the WZM plant in Poznań.
