Hainan Airlines will resume direct flights between Prague and Beijing by the end of June. The official confirmation was announced by the Prague airport, which also marked the start of ticket sales. Prices for a return trip start from 15,000 kroner and above. Flights to China have been suspended due to the outbreak of the Covid-19 pandemic.
From June 24, the airport named after Václav Havel in Prague will renew its direct connection with Beijing, the capital of China. Hainan Airlines will serve the route with an Airbus A330 aircraft that can accommodate up to 292 passengers. Flights from Prague to Beijing will be available every Monday, Wednesday and Friday.
The long-awaited frequent connection from Prague to Beijing will enrich the journey from Prague and affect the prices of other tickets to Asia and beyond. According to Zdopravy.cz, the cheapest tickets between Prague and Beijing can be bought in the Hainan Airlines reservation system for about 30,000 crowns, but some resellers offer them for about half the price.
With over twenty million inhabitants, Beijing is a bustling mix of modern skyscrapers and many monuments, such as the Forbidden City, the Temple of Heaven and Tiananmen Square. Tourists should not miss a trip to the Great Wall of China and the famous Chinese cuisine.
This connection enables Chinese tourists to return to the Czech Republic, which can benefit tourism entrepreneurs, restaurateurs and other traders.
