Chisinau to Host Moldova–Poland Business Seminar Aimed at Deepening Economic Ties

2025/06/14
in Macroeconomics

On June 26, Chisinau will host a high-profile business seminar designed to strengthen economic cooperation between the Republic of Moldova and the Republic of Poland. The event, organized by Moldova’s Investment Agency in partnership with the Polish Investment and Trade Agency and other stakeholders, is positioned as a vital platform for fostering mutual exchange of knowledge, exploring new investment prospects, and forging productive commercial partnerships.

Scheduled to begin at 09:30, the seminar will feature thematic presentations that shed light on Moldova’s current investment landscape, while interactive sessions will delve into the latest economic trends shaping both nations. A series of B2B meetings are expected to concentrate on key sectors including transport, infrastructure, alternative energy, agriculture and the food industry, as well as public administration. By facilitating direct dialogue among government officials, investors, and business leaders, the seminar aims to accelerate the development of sustainable economic opportunities that benefit both countries.

Officials believe the seminar will serve as an ideal ecosystem for creating lasting commercial collaborations and unlocking shared economic potential. Polish and Moldovan enterprises are expected to explore avenues for joint ventures and investment frameworks that could pave the way for long-term growth. In addition, this event supports broader efforts to integrate Moldova more closely with Poland’s supply chains and regulatory standards, which are closely aligned with the European Union’s market norms.

The Moldova–Poland business seminar follows a series of bilateral initiatives, including a November 2024 forum in Chisinau where Polish and Moldovan ministers signed a memorandum of cooperation in energy efficiency. That previous event laid the groundwork for today’s seminar by establishing a template for successful public-private partnerships, especially in areas vital to economic resilience and green transformation.

As Moldova continues its ambitious path toward European integration, events such as this business seminar play a crucial role in solidifying regional partnerships and promoting investment-led development. Interested parties are encouraged to register ahead of the event via the Investment Agency’s online portal.
